Anonymous Donor Heroes
November 21, 2020: I received a kidney that I had been waiting almost five years for. I had been on dialysis during those years. I got a call late at night that an anonymous kidney had been found as my match. I am close to my four year transplant anniversary, and my life was given back by the donor whose kidney I received. I think about him each and every day, and I am so grateful, beyond words, for his gift.
