Ricky D. Price was a loving husband, father, friend, uncle, brother, and the BEST grandfather. He passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 56 leaving behind the ones who loved him far too soon.
He was a father of all girls, the grandfather of two girls, Madalyn (6) who was his biggest fan and partner in crime, and Florence (1) who he loved to spoil and sneak sugar to. He had one grandson Owen who was only 12 weeks old when Papaw passed away. He waited his whole life for a boy to spoil and knowing he won’t be able to fulfill that wish is heartbreaking. The loss of Ricky is a tremendous one.
But he was ALWAYS the type of person to give the shirt off his back to help anyone even a stranger. His legacy of selflessness and giving continued on as he was able to donate his organs to save and improve the lives of others. Knowing he will live on is the beauty in such an awful experience of losing him. He is sorely missed and dearly loved. The world just isn’t the same without him in it, but Heaven is extra beautiful with him there.
