Tissue Donor

My brother died unexpectedly and quickly. He wasn’t one to save for the future or even the present. He was sometimes homeless but still kept going. He didn’t give to his community — his community gave to him. I made most decisions with him, and I know the decision of helping the need of another would have been his way to give back. We donated tissue and — in his heart and mine — it’s the greatest unselfish gift you can ever give. I was once told giving someone something they can never repay is the greatest gift of all.

Saying thank you

Should you choose to connect, we're here to help. Letters and cards can be a tremendous gift to both the donor families and recipients. To protect everyone, we provide guidelines for communication. Names remain confidential unless both parties agree to share those with one another, and we provide a correspondence address. We are happy to share sample letters to help you get started.
