Benjamin Holiday
Organ Donor
/August 13, 2025
Our son, Benjamin Wilson Holiday, was born January 27, 1992, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Ben departed this life on August 13, 2025, at the age of 33, in Santa Rosa, California.
Ben was a radiant soul—creative, musical and full of joy. His spirit overflowed with curiosity, compassion and grace. He had a gift for bringing beauty into the lives of others, whether through his music, his culinary talents or his unforgettable humor. He made the world feel more alive, more tender and more connected.
“To Thine Own Self Be True” was not only a tattoo on his arm but a guiding principle of his life. Ben walked with integrity and courage, never compromising the goodness within him. He lived with a generous heart, especially toward those in need—the hungry, the homeless, the overlooked. He saw the dignity in every person and responded with kindness and mercy. He understood the struggles of the human journey and did all he could to ease them.
He was the gentlest and most loving man we’ve known, and his spirit was truly free. His choice to be an organ donor was his last act of unselfishly showing love to others. We are grateful for the kindness your organization has shown us.
