My Donor was in the USA from Honduras. He was a 19-year-old boy working to make a better life for himself. I received his heart, late in the night of 21-22 August 2018. Once they had the heart connected, it started beating on its own. The doctor told everyone in the OR that was only GOD. The heart has been a perfect match with my body. My body is reacting to the heart as its own. I’m so grateful every day for the chance to live a better life, thanks to my Donor.
