Gabriel “Gabe” Lile

Organ Donor

/

December 15, 2024

Unfortunately, on December 11, 2024, my son passed away. Gabe was a such a loving and kind soul always wanted everyone to get along and was so full of life. Gabe had a double bachelor’s degree and worked doing cybersecurity and IT work for the United States government. He was so smart. He loved his family so much and enjoyed any family time he got. He was ecstatic when we welcomed his niece, Skylah. He adored her and loved watching her do new things. Gabe was an organ donor and was able to save lives. I was able to be in contact with his two kidney recipients, and from the very first day, it literally helped with the loss of my son, seeing another person’s life saved and being able to hug one of them and FaceTime the other. We will never stop saying my son’s name to help others become organ donors. It seriously is the best gift of life.
