My Gavin decided at 18 to become an organ donor. When his accident happened we honored his decision. He lost his life on 11/28/21, and his donation surgery was on 12/02/21. Through donation, he saved 5 lives with 6 organs. I have a wonderful relationship with his heart recipient and his liver recipient. Gavin is our hero and a hero to many others in our community. He was a senior in high school preparing for his next adventure in life–college. Such a beautiful human!
