Remembering Our
Donor Heroes

Jason Padilla Jr.

Organ Donor

/

May 19, 2024

Jason made a very adult decision when he got his learner’s permit. He decided to be an organ donor. He chose to be a hero. No one expected it to happen so soon. Less than 2 years later, he was struck by a drunk driver and lost his life. Jason had the most infectious smile and brought joy to everyone around him. He was very intelligent, and we miss him every second of every day. He has inspired me to make a change and to change the world. His heroic actions and story has impacted so many lives already. This doesn’t include the families who got to see their loved one live because of him. Jason is my inspiration. He’s 2.0 – he’s a hero.
