Remembering Our
Donor Heroes

Joshua Benson

Josh was bright, funny, sensitive and talented. He played baseball and soccer when he was younger. He was also a talented artist. As he got older he became somewhat of a daredevil, riding his skateboard. Oh, the stories he would tell about riding down all those steep streets. One of his passions was working on cars. His first car was an older BMW. And boy, did he love that car. One of his posts on Facebook he mentioned working on cars was his “little slice of heaven.” He was a fun older brother to his two siblings. He didn’t care if he looked goofy riding the tiny train with his little brother and sister. They had so much fun hanging out with him. We really weren’t all that surprised when the doctors informed us that he had signed up to be an organ donor. Josh will never be forgotten, and we all love and miss him so very much.
