Donor Heroes

My son was in a tragic accident at the age of 21. He had a heart of gold. He was an amazing young man. He was patient, loving and so compassionate. He selflessly signed up immediately to be an organ donor as soon as his father explained what it meant. My son’s corneas, liver, kidneys and his beautiful heart were donated to those in need. We were lucky enough to hear from his heart recipient and were able to develop a relationship with him and his wonderful wife. They were so grateful to be given a second chance at life. He was a true hero!
