My father was shot on January 14th, 2022 along with his girlfriend. She died immediately and my dad survived, alone and injured for many hours. He was kept alive on a ventilator for 5 days. With no chance of survival, Dad took his last breath on 1/19/2022. He had just turned 59 years old.
The gift of his left kidney was given to a woman in her 60s who I hope is now living a happy and healthy life.
